REVIEWS 5.0 out of 5 stars I truly recommend this FURMINATOR, 24 April 2012 By Mr Stahly After a friend's and my Vet's recommendation I bought the FURMINATOR large for my Border Terrier who sheds lots of hair all over the house. I was very impressed with it's effective function and do recommend it highly. It does take off a lot of hair and helps to avoid most of the shedding. I use it 1x week but please read instructions first - easy to use - but do comb in gentle and long strokes - no pressure applied - not fast and short ones as that may leave some bald spots. It is safe and very good buy! Literally 5 minutes after hoovering there would be a carpet of her hair again, until I purchased the Furminator. Following the first comb her hair reduced dramatically, and now i do a quick comb daily the hair is non existent......HONESTLY. I have already recommended this tool verbally to many friends/colleagues etc. The price is excellent too, i saw some at £40.00!!!!!! 5.0 out of 5 stars The best dog grooming product on the market, 5 April 2012 By Catriona This is the second furminator I have bought, the first one I ended up giving to my son in law because he has a husky dog and it was shedding its coat all over. At first he was reluctant to use it because he thought it looked too brutal to use on his dogs coat, eventually he tried the furminator and has never looked back. He said he couldn't believe how quick and easy it was to use. He said the dog absolutely loved it and actually sat still why he groomed it. I have two dogs and both my dogs love the furminator, there is no tugging, it glides through the dog coat with ease removing all that unwanted winter coat leaving your beloved pet feeling wonderful. I would truly recomend this product which is excellent value for money 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, 24 Mar 2012 By at0micferret I initially bought this for my GSD who sheds a lot of hair in spring, it worked so well I have since used it on my long hair wire coat terrier and my flat coat retriever both of which I didn't think shed a lot of hair .... well as it turns out I was wrong, you will be amazed at what this brush can do! Definatly worth the price I paid and my dog is much happier now and is ready for the summer (Spain).
